clubbed a three-run home run (his 1st of the season). Jim Konstanty(1-0) got
help from Church who pitched a perfect ninth and was credited with his 1st
save.
Tommy Byrne(0-1) was the loser in relief. He was unable to retire a batter
and surrendered 1 hit and no walks.
