game and first baseman Tommy Henrich lofted one into the 'cheap seats' and

had 4 RBI as the powerful New York Yankees defeated the Boston Red Sox by the

score of 5 to 2 at Yankee Stadium.



Lopat(7-4) earned his pay with a solid performance for New York. He was
