Allie Reynolds pitched a complete game as the incredible New York Yankees
defeated the Philadelphia Athletes by a score of 2 to 1 at Shibe
Park.
Reynolds(13-5) delivered a fine performance for New York. He allowed 11 hits
and 2 walks in 9 innings. Philadelphia made it exciting in the 9th, but they
were unable to push the needed runs across.
Alex Kellner(3-20) was given the loss. He allowed 2 runs and 7 hits in 7
innings. 'It wasn't my best outing, but I'll take the win' Reynolds said.
