the New York Yankees by the score of 8 to 5 at Yankee Stadium.
Coleman provided the offensive punch. He cleared the fences for a two-run
home run in the 2nd inning and lifted one out of the park for a two run home
run (his 5th of the season) in the 9th inning. New York had 13 hits in the
game while St. Louis had 10, but St. Louis had the more timely hits.
